Rheas and Oaks Sewist Company started in September 2022 as I considered my retirement. I chose the name in honor of my grandchildren. I have been sewing since I was a teenager. My mom was an avid seamstress in our home community. While I have done some sewing of clothing for myself, I prefer to stick to ribbon skirts, quilts, tote bags and doll clothes.

I love to sew and design indigenous ribbon skirts. The designing comes into play with choosing an applique for the skirt, the number and color of ribbons, placement of the ribbons and applique. All the skirts have seams finished with a serger, pockets, and are custom sized to your waist/hip and length. All skirts have a one inch no-roll elastic for the waist.
